About 1.5-degree inclusive society project
Let us envision what an inclusive 1.5-degree energy society means!
Climate change is far from a future possibility - It is inevitable. But the good news is that we can still hope to limit global warming by 1.5ºCelsius between 2030-2050. This is our best bet for the future but will require a challenging large-scale societal transformation, which is also an opportunity to co-construct a more equal, balanced, and inclusive society. This vision for the future entails a more participatory society next to a wide scale transformation of our energy systems.
To support this goal we are building a database of participatory practices for the energy transition, including examples of energy citizenship and energy communities across the globe.
Database on participation of citizens in the energy transition coming soon.
